The Birdie® Pro is the upgraded follow-on to the Birdie® 2.0 — the rechargeable, notificationless CO₂ monitor that turned the smart home sensor category on its head by refusing to be a smart home sensor in the traditional sense. How It Works

The mechanism is deliberately simple. Birdie® is wall-mounted via a 3M adhesive strip (with an optional screw mount). Inside, a certified Swiss Sensirion™ CO₂ sensor measures the concentration of carbon dioxide in the room. When CO₂ stays above 1,000 ppm for more than 10 minutes, the bird drops downward on its perch. Once you open a window and CO₂ drops back below 950 ppm, Birdie® rises back to its upright position.
