A Crease? What Crease?

Let’s get the elephant out of the room first: foldable phones have always had a visible crease down the middle of the inner screen, and for years buyers have been told to just live with it. OPPO isn’t interested in that deal anymore.

The Find N6 introduces what the company calls “Zero-Feel Crease” technology, and it’s genuinely impressive engineering. OPPO laser-scans the titanium alloy hinge mechanism and uses a precision polymer to fill the microscopic gaps, ensuring the glass lays as flat as physically possible when the phone is open. They’ve also used thicker glass over the hinge area to improve long-term shape recovery. The result? You can barely feel anything under your finger, and in normal lighting conditions, it’s remarkably hard to even see the crease.*

The second-generation Flexion hinge adds a lovely tactile reward too — it closes with a smooth, dampened magnetic snap that makes every fold feel intentional and premium. It’s the kind of detail that doesn’t show up in spec sheets but defines how a phone feels to live with.

Build quality across the rest of the device is exceptional. The frame is constructed from a combination of aluminium alloy and titanium-aluminium alloy, and it carries a triple water resistance rating: IP56, IP58, and IP59. That IP59 certification — resistance to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — is something you’d normally only see on industrial equipment. Four colour options are available: Blossom Orange (with genuine gold gilding on the titanium hinge), Stellar Titanium, Deep Black, and Misty White. The Find N6 weighs approximately 225g.

Two Screens. Both Outstanding.

The Find N6 has two displays — an inner foldable screen and an outer cover screen — and both are genuinely excellent. Most foldable phones compromise on one or the other. OPPO doesn’t.

The inner screen’s 2,500 nit peak brightness means it’s comfortably readable in direct sunlight — something earlier OPPO foldables struggled with. The 8.12″ canvas is genuinely transformative for reading, multitasking, and watching video in a way that no regular smartphone display can replicate. The cover screen at 6.62″ is large enough to use as a full smartphone without ever opening the phone — and at 120Hz, it feels as fluid as any flagship.

The camera system on the Find N6 represents the biggest upgrade OPPO has made to any foldable in a single generation. The Cosmos Ring — a symmetrical camera housing co-developed with Hasselblad — is home to four rear sensors that together cover every realistic shooting scenario.

Both displays also carry a 20MP front-facing camera — you get a selfie camera whether the phone is open or closed, each with identical quality. Video recording tops out at 4K, with AI-enhanced stabilisation across all modes.

Battery life has traditionally been the Achilles heel of book-style foldables. The thin chassis leaves little room for a large cell, which is why most foldables struggle to reach the end of a full day with heavy use. The Find N6 solves this with silicon-carbon battery technology — a newer chemistry that achieves higher energy density than conventional lithium-ion in the same physical volume.

The result is a 6,000mAh battery in a phone that opens to just 4.21mm. In testing, the Find N6 comfortably delivered a full day of heavy use — active multitasking, photography, a Bluetooth call, and navigation — with charge to spare at bedtime. Lighter users will stretch this to nearly two days.

Charging is rapid: 80W wired SuperVOOC takes the phone from flat to full in under an hour. A charger is included in the box — refreshingly, this isn’t treated as optional at this price point. 50W wireless AirVOOC is also supported for compatible pads, along with reverse wired charging to top up accessories.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 — Headroom to Spare

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 built on 3nm architecture is the fastest mobile chip available as of mid-2026. On the Find N6, it delivers an AnTuTu benchmark score of approximately 4,027,702 — well ahead of any competing foldable. Gaming performance, app loading, multitasking, and AI processing all feel effortless. There’s simply no scenario the Find N6 can’t handle without breaking a sweat.

Paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, the Find N6 is future-proofed in a way that most phones at this price are not. Android 16 & the OPPO AI Pen

The Find N6 ships with Android 16 and ColorOS 16, OPPO’s most refined software skin to date. The foldable-optimised interface handles the transition between cover screen and inner display smoothly, with apps expanding and contracting without the jarring reflows that plagued earlier foldable software. Split-screen multitasking is a genuinely useful feature on the 8.12″ canvas rather than a gimmick.

The OPPO AI Pen (sold separately) is one of the Find N6’s most distinctive features — described as the first AI stylus engineered for foldables. The pen supports handwriting, annotation, sketching, and AI-powered note-taking on the inner display. It charges via a compatible case and attaches magnetically.
